ATTENTION MUSICIANS!!!!!!!!!!

The club 550 is putting together a major hip hop group like never seen before.  We are looking for a drummer, bass guitar, guitarist (you don't have to be hip hop inclined here), keyboardist, Dj, hip hop dancers and a female vocalist to accompany rap artist "Tribe".  The group, once selected, will practise once a week at the Club before opening hours.  They will be managed and eventually sponsored by the Club and will start going on tours once perfected.  If you would like more info please go to the contacts section on this website and shoot me an email.

  • (Sorry if you missed it) RAPPERS IN THE HOUSE - Dgritty and Dem Werkboyz, Friday 22nd May:  You do not want to miss this show......These rappers have recorded with Puff Daddy, Nelly and other major names and can only be seen performing live at The Club 550.  North Conway you do not want to miss out on this.  Rappers and supporting Djs start at 9:00 pm.
  • (Sorry if you missed it) "STARS IN THEIR EYES"-4-Day Karaoke Contest on May 24th, 26th, 27th and Finals on the 31st:   Judged by a panel of 3.  This is serious business with rules and regulations so the winner is legit!   Spectators are welcome and we promise you it is serious entertainment.  If you would like to be a contestant, please register yourself on the "contacts" section on this website.  If you would like more information of rules and regulations (also the 3 winners ), please scroll down to the bottom of this column.  1st prize is $250.00, 2nd prize is $100.00 and 3rd is $50.00.  Contestants entry into the contest is $10.00.  Be sure to be there on Sunday, May 24th by 7:00 pm.  If you do not make the finals on that Sunday you can try again on Tuesday and on Wednesday.  Good luck all.
  • Live Band "Superbug" on Thursday June 4th:  This band's music is similar to the music of Pink Flloyd and are very creative.  This will be the fourth time they have been asked to perform at The Club 550.
  • Bike Contest on Friday the June 19th with Live band "Full Circle":  Bike Week on  June 12th until June 21st and the Club is offering 1/2 price pool for any one who is on their bikes between those dates.   Full Circle, featuring Kenny on the bongos, is playing LIVE on Friday, June 19th  (Classic Rock).  The bike contest is also on that evening.  The best bike will be judged by associates of The Harley Davidson Store and winner will Receive $100 cash prize.  Half of the parking lot will be allocated to bikes for the contest. 
  •  Battle of The Rappers on Friday 26th June:  OOOOOOOH DO NOT MISS THIS!  You may never see anything like this again in your life time - maybe on MTV if you are lucky.  We are honored to hold this contest, a "Battle of the Rappers" featuring 10 major artists battling it out, they have played and recorded with Nelly, Dr Dre, Puff Daddy,  Rkelly and other major names in the industry, along with DJs.  They are coming from Connecticut, New York, Massachussetts, Rhode Island and Maine.  You might want to pre-book! 
  • Car Show on Friday 24th July:  Car Show??!!  You might ask!  Yes, another excuse to have a different party with a twist.  This show is very popular in other States at similar venues.  The entire parking lot will be allocated to One- of-a-Kind cars that will be travelling hundreds of miles to The Club 550.  Winners will receive tropheys and cash prizes.  See and talk to people from all over that are passionate about their labor of love collectibles.  Dance the night away with Dj Alias.
  • Battle Of The Djs on Friday 7th August:  Another must attend.........check out our resident Djs battle with 3 more from Mass, NY and Conneticut.  Be the judge on this and see who wants to take 1st prize with its high status and prestige.  The winner will also come back to Dj at The Club 550.  Watch them as they spin and mix tunes like never before.  Each Dj will be allocated two time slots.  Some will be on the dance floor with their equipment and headphones ready to jump in on a tune.  Another of the criterias will be how well they mix their tune with the prior Dj's tune - "The Battle Must Go On."
